Monochromatics Challenge

Today's card is the one that I made for the Monochromatics Color Challenge for Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week in the Moxie Fab World. This is the 5th of the 6 colour challenges that were issued over on the Moxie Fab World blog to celebrate the release of Paper Craft magazine's special colour issue. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, you should! It's been a lot of fun to play along with.

I love monochromatic cards. I always think that they look so sharp and clean.

Here's a look at the colour combo that was issued for the monochromatic challenge:

And here's a look at my finished card:

I was feeling very uninspired when I started working on this card, and wasn't staggered by the results, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Love the buttons!

Thanks for visiting.

I'm so glad you decided you liked this card. I thought it was awesome, but you seemed so down on it? I'm very happy you've come to your senses - LOL!! And, again, an incredible PINK card. I think you need to do more of these challenges. They really do push you out of your comfort zone, and I'm amazed at what incredible cards you come up with. I'm so inspired! I love those cute buttons, too, and I love how you added the script (was that patterned paper or a stamp?) to the background paper. Such a perfect little detail. You rock my card making world :)
