March HCCC

I can't believe this is the only card I've posted this month. I have been slacking. And I can't say that this post is going to make up for it, 'cause this card sucks. I apologize in advance.

The Hazzard County Card Challenge for this month was to create a card inspired by a picture of a stain-glass window. This idea is better in theory than in practice. The best thing I can say about this card is that it fulfills the requirements of the challenge.

There really isn't any more to say, here's the card:

It wasn't until I had finished the card that I realized I had made a "rose" window. I'm so punny.

Okay, so in theory this card is such a freaking amazing idea! Seriously, how do you come up with this stuff? I don't know how you would have 'coloured' the stain-glass differently on that front panel? Maybe you really do need to break down and buy "The Copics" (aaaaahhhh). To replace the kit of the month, you could join a Copic kit club, they have them you know. Every month you get like 6 new markers and that way you slowly build up your collection. But I am NOT an enabler :)
I do love the rose, it looks beautiful! And, yes Marnie, you are so punny. Thanks for an AWESOME challenge. I will try to get April's up...although it might be late? And I might not be able to make a card this month? Maybe we'll have to discuss a short HCCC hiatus, or I'll just have to come to your house and get crafty :) I'll call you!
